Payment Post Auction
You have two business days to pay for the vehicle in full, including the day of the auction. Late fees start at $50. To avoid this fee, pay in time. Be prepared to pay before you bid.Vehicle Storage Fees
Pick up your vehicle within three days to avoid storage fees. After three days, you will start to rack up daily storage fees which can get very expensive (up to $30/day). This is the most important step to be prepared for to avoid fees. Arrange vehicle pickup as soon as the auction is complete as it can take a day or two to schedule. While you’re finishing the payment on the vehicle, your vehicle transporters can be setting up the pickup.Relist Fees
If you don’t pay for the vehicle within 8 days of the auction end, the vehicle can be relisted. Copart will charge the buyer that failed to pay a 10% fee with a minimum of $600. This will be taken from your deposit. Obviously to avoid Copart fees like this is to pay in time and in full. This will not look good on your Copart account.Avoid Copart Fees
